Many of the multi-domain, multi-layer network provisioning concepts and features worked on as part of the Hybrid-MLN project were implemented in the open source control plane software which is currently running on ESnet Science Data Network (SDN), Internet Dynamic Circuit Network (DCN)/ION Service, and multiple other research and education networks.

This includes the DICE Inter-Domain Controller Protocol (IDCP) which enables dynamic provisioning of lower-layer dedicated network resources on a multi-domain basis. The following networks are running a DICE IDCP compatible control plane software on their respective networks:

The following "higher level service applications" have adapated their existing system to communicate via the user requst side of IDCP:

The organizations indicated with an * above, have deployed the software instance based on OSCARS or OSCARS/DRAGON combination for multi-domain dynamic network provisioning. These software releases can be found at the links indicated below:
